Default Batter size

Hello everyone,
I am hopefully going to get a cliff climber this christmas

I already have two 6 cell nimh, 3300 mAH batteries, but on the site it said that it needed mini batteries or 2/3 batteries.

Do I NEED 2/3 batteries just because of the size, or will something go wrong if I run both of my batteries I already have?

The only problem I see 1. the stock ESC has tiny gauge wire with quake plugs and 2. the size of the 3300, the only place you would be able to fit them is on top of the electronics which throws your CG out the door. You could buy or make an adapter that goes from 1 battery to the 2 on the ESC, there will still be a battery on top of your electronics but not as bad as 2.
if you plan on keeping it mostly stock invest in a couple of sets of these, they will fit nicely on your front servo. DTXC2193

another battery lead to look for is for the RS4, the connectors are the same as the mini-quake and the CC.
