Lightbulb idea's

alright well i am getting a cc for christmas from my parents as i told them it was a great deal at 89.99 for the artr. so my plan is to push the limits of the axles. my idea's are axial beadlocks with panther cougar tires, all metal gears, eliminate rear stear, change chassis to a 2.2 comp chassis, maxx shocks, and eventually switch to holmes motors and a sidewinder esc. for now i am gunna run stock motors and and a stock mini lst2 esc. any thoughts or idea's?

I would recommend getting all the metal gears, even the main which TH says comes out at the end of Dec. Also make sure you get the CVDs, I have those on BO also and might see them at the end of Jan.

Andrew

stock motors did this

Pro Line Flat Irons work great

The Holms Hobbies motors are fantastic, but you will be replacing gears every outing

Wow. Stockers did that? I have been watching for the cvd's to become available, but no go. Do you need a different Esc for the Holms?

The way mine is set up I can keep up with just about anything, since I locked the rear steer I made axle shafts out of 1/4" aluminum. I just need those damn main gears. I found that the CEN Dog Bones FF057 will just fit and they are thicker, so I ordered a set and will let you know how they hold up.

With the stock stubs and the Flat Irons track is 9.25, wouldn't think you would want any less?
