Default Steering

How can you make the front wheels turn farther then they go. I have to back up and turn to even go at the slightest turn.

What are you running for servo? I have a 645MG with the rear steer locked out and it turns awsome.

Default steering improved with HiTec Digital HS5645MG w/ metal horns

No issues with steering even with 2 inch longer chassis (stock links)

Is the servo pushing it to full lock? What is your castor angle like?

there are a few possibilties that may hinder your steering. If your foams are too soft it will just push the front end around straight. If you have the Knuckles leaning too far forward (+caster) then it isn't actually steering it will be shoving the tires under the truck. The servo may not be traveling the full distance. When you have the wheels off of the ground does the servo push until you hit the knucles on the screws that hold the C to the axle housing?

Default steering

MIP makes the front driveaxles for your rig. they claim that can give you up to 10 degrees more steering. there is probably a mod you can do to the front end, but i dont know it off hand.

What is everyone using for a for upgraded (alloy) tierod and draglink? The blue suspension links and tierod/draglink that Duratrax sells suck. I've broken damn near every one.

make sure you unclock your front axle, ie axle C's/knuckles straight up and down. upgrade your servo and run a slightly longer servo arm and get rid of that servo saver. should fix all your problems ;) ive got a chassis coming out soon that should help you with this.....
