Default Can 2 mini t batterys fit in the battery box?

I know they say to use two stick but it looks like the battery strap may be able to move up alitte and fit the two mini t packs instead of the stick packs.
can someone measure the disance between the bottom of the battery compartment to the bottom of the battery hold down at the highest it can go while still able to put a body clip into the poles? Or if you have two mini t packs see if they will fit. The reason i am asking this is beacuse i have a few other rc's that use mini t packs and i read on a review where the person used a mini t pack to test his car and wanted to know if he put it in the stock location.
Sorry if this is hard to understand,
nicholas

It will be a tight fit but it looks like it will work. If you keep the packs centered in the stock location you will be able to bend the ends of the strap down enough to hit the holes for the clips. The CG will be even higher than with the stock bats though. A better idea may be to attach them to the top of the servos, 1 front and 1 rear. Either make a plate to mount them of just velcro and zip tie to the servo.

yeah, they fit but it pushes the electronics right up almost into the cabin.

i found it affects the cofg quite a bit and spends a bit of time on its roof.
i switched to a couple of cheap flightpower 800mah.
