I am running stock Axial beadlocks. You can usually pick them up cheap in the for sale section.

I also run stock axial beadlocks with pro-line flat irons. Sometime I swap them with the badlands on my scorpion. Whatever tire you use, make sure you put memory foams in them, or get tires with memory foams. They made a huge difference in traction for me.

No. The Axial Rock Lizard (stock tire for scorpion) comes with regular foam. The tires aren't that great, but they're OK with memory foams. Axial's beadlock wheels, on the other hand, are relatively inexpensive, strong, and very popular.

The wheel you are running is 1.295 wide we have that wheel and a 1.00in. version as well that we just came out with. You can now get all Mayhem Eng. 2.2 wheels 1.295 wide and 1.00 wide. We started production on these last Monday.

To heavy for that wimpy rig of yours....you blame the wheels..........LOL

Thanks Mayhem Eng.

haha i just came across that, could be the ticket, 1" wide in delrin and one of your lite styles, 7s, or spiders, might be perfect for these little guys. im not kidding dan, i think the wheels litterally double the weight of the entire truck! crawled the best it ever has though! mega stable and more grip, just a bit much for those shitty stock motors.

sorry if i came off as bashing not the intent. wheels are awesome! and i think your new 1" and lighter delrin could be even better! damn you and your marketing genious!

Stock axials ARE the rockster 2.2" on the AX-10 Scorpion. The biggest advantage to using 2.2" tires and wheels is a little more ground clearance, and you have more different tires to choose from.

How did you go about choosing a width of 1.295?

the axial bead locks and losi claws make a good combo and a stock cc doesnt have any more trouble spinnig them than it does with the stock tiny things
