Default Real world CC upgrades

OK so I have a CC on the way and want to know what are some good cheap upgrades for it? I am gonna build some links and stretch it a bit and clock the axles, lock out the rear steer, and get metal gears for the axles. Then, phase 2 will be a better servo and beadlocks with bigger tires. Any suggestions on these? Also i am thinking about the 1/18th descender body Is anyone running this on a CC?

I think you have the upgrades pretty much covered, you could run the banebots motors but they don't work with the stock speed control. For wheels I run axial beadlocks weighted in the front only and use whatever tire works for the rocks you crawl on. The 1/18th descender body is designed for the Losi MRC so I think it will be to small for the CC.

I'll upgrade motors when they go bad. I'll check into the axial beadlocks when the time comes. I figured the body would be too small but wasn't sure of the wheelbase. I'll just stretch it and put one of the Tamiya Yota bodies on it! I also plan on beating the snot out of this little thing. so i may do some kind of exo with tubing.
