I was surfing' the net a few days ago and found this motor. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWSV7&P=7 Will it fit my CC if I use two esc's, and will it give enough power? And as a followup question......will it be better to use banebots motors? (I live in Norway and have to pay 28$ in shipping cost) Last edited by El mecco; 06-20-2009 at 01:58 AM.

Yes it will fit. I tried the standard Novak 380's in mine. They were way too much wheel speed. I have been trying to get my hands on the crawler motors. I havent found the motors seperate yet though. J

Would gear reduction units for planes with the stock CC motors be an option? If you can get those locally I mean.

I don't know how you could ever fit that in there. I was thinking that there may be an airplane motor with the right RPM. There are a lot of 380 and 390's | |

BMV Style Cliff Climber Probably would be a pain to fit with the stock links and shocks, this one had a torsion setup.

I agree - links leave little room for extra length to motor via reducer.

Anyway that motor and esc are too expensive. Consider you need two motor and two esc. Definetly it is not the right choice. If you have a big budget you can buy the cobalt puller from JRH, it is a guarantee. Bye filippo
