I just ordered my CC ARR for 29.99 from Tower hobbies.
I used my promo code for 20 dollars off 49.90 or more.

I think i got a good deal. what do you think?
what mods should i do?

Great deal. At that price you can't go wrong with the CC. Look through all the great threads on here that deal with the CC, you will get a good idea of what works and what does not. My personal opinion on the mods would be to stretch it to 12.5" (if you plan to comp with it you can not be any longer) and add 2.2 wheels and tires.

ya you need to sign up for e-mail updates. The more e-mails you have the more coupons you get. I got mine for 29.99 also plus 9.99 shipping. You can't beat it.

The only mass produced upgrades I know of are the Duratrax ones you can get through tower. There was a guy on here that was making a chassis but I have not seen anything lately about it. I think it was through "the scale shop". I made the chassis and links I am running.

The topic is kind of misleading! Not everyone gets those promo's. I am a TH subscriber and I didn't get anything.

But I still ordered it anyways with my $10 off from the TH flyer. Gonna build me a scaler. You heard that right haters, I said "scaler".

Yeah, just typing it in doesn't work. You have to follow the link from the email. Man, this forum discusses tower hobbies coupons more than the cliff climber itself, haha.

Thats eventually what mines gonna be. Since I can't get a cherokee body for a good price i guess it'll be a exo'd and tube bedded yota!

I hope you stick 1.9's on there. I just recieved my CC a few minutes ago. TH is fast with shipping!

These axles should be perfect, it only measures at 186mm width with a standard 1.9 wheel and axial axles and hexes. Slightly narrower than TLT axles with the same wheels. Great for scale builds!
