Yeah, the cliff climber has no diffs in the axles, so if a left tire spins, the right should also. Might be the drive cups, hear any clicking? Has it always done this or started recently?

i just got it a little while ago and it has done it since day 1. so is there anything i could do about it or do i need to buy stuff for it?

proraptor 07-09-2009 04:51 PM

you most likely are going to have to take the axles apart to see what the problem is

orangecc 07-09-2009 04:55 PM

ok thanks for the help

Mine did the same from day 1. Go ahead and buy the steel cups and use Orings on the axles. ;-)

Mine made it a couple days. I have nothing against the truck itself but there is too much plastic inside the axle! Oh well steel will be going in soon.

My axles already had o-rings in the stub shafts. That may be the difference, but with 4" tires I've had no trouble. Though the axles are stonger than the stall point of the motors on 7.2V.
