Default how to wire my sidewinder esc

i just got a castle creations sidewinder esc and was wondering the best way to wire it. im using two duratrax 1600 batteries for power. there is a red and black wire coming out of the esc. should i make a split for each wire and use one red for the front and one red for the back and same with the black wire? also the same for the motors. there is one black and one red what would be the best way to wire it to the motors. thanks for any help.

for the motors both + go to the red and both - go to the black and for the batteries you can run them in parralel go both reds to red and same with black or in series so red from one pack to red on sidewinder black on that pack to red on other pack and black from that pack to black on sidewinder if they are both 6 cell packs

Are you shooting for two batteries for super voltage or super runtime?

With the strength limitations of the CC, I always shot for low weight. Is the use of two batts required?

On the motors, always temporarily wire them up first before making the final solder connections. Getting it all soldered up, just to find out the motors don't spin the tires the same direction would probably be a bummer.

two batteries is just what i use now and works good. all the electronics are stock right now and i got the small 1600 battery packs from dtx for the cc. i figured i would just keep them since thats what i have and use them with the sidewinder and banebots. thanks for letting me know the possibility of the motors turning in different directions. ill keep that in mind
