Beadlocks

Should I get 2.2 or 1.9 bead locks for my CC?

do you have stock motors? stock servo? if so i would go with 1.9s

im running mayhem 8 holes axial offset 2.2s. they are insanely heavy and double the weight of the truck. stock motors and servo will barely even move the truck.

Yes stock motors and servo for now so looks like 1.9 will be the way to go.

Thanks.

i assumed you ment metal beadlocks, yeah if you go plastic beadlocks you can do 2.2 no problem. i went metal 2.2 and they were too much beef for the little guy. couldnt even turn the wheels on tile! lol

rock rippers

:mrgreen:i finally found as set that wont kill your wallet: rc4wd rock rippers. the offset pushes them out from under your truck= more clearence on links and shock mounts when you move up to the bigger motors"thumbsup"

I just switched to using my stock Creeper Beadlox and modified Stock Creeper tires ... with the Tamiya RS380 motors and stock gearing it slowed the truck down a little ... should mean I'll be perfect when the 9T's arrive. I have weighted the wheels as well. I don't get any rub but I moved the upper link back in board as I found there was just far too much axle sway that way ... inboard it tightened back up. I can still get all four spinning in the kitchen if need be, just takes a little more throttle now.
