This is what happens, when you have a nice Clod body and stock chassis and a top heavy, low performing Cliff Climber mixed with alot of ambition and some time to spare. It took all of 2 hours to complete. Its not completely done, I plan to tummy tuck it soon. I would have gotten alot more pics, but my camera is on its last leg and I had to fight with it to even get these 2 pics.
Stock 5500 380 motors
Traxxas EVX2 ESC
Dual Intellect 1600 2/3 cells
HiTec 625MG servo.

Default Keeley's Cliff Climber

This is my girl friend's Cliff Climber. She was really happy to get her own rock climber. It is almost stock, the only thing I did was to re-solder and reverse rear servo to get rid of that goofy spacer. Hope you like it.

Clocked front axle -it is now level
axial front steering links cut down
Axial offset rod ends on steering link clears axle housing for better steering, turns till knuckle hits axle housing.

Moved links to outside of axle mounts

Trimmed body for better clearance

Mostly stock for now with novak rooster crawler, JR st126mg servo, stock motors, 7 cells. Not much power, I'm looking at other options.

no mods yet except 2.2 axial rockstar beadlocks and pro-line 2.2 chisel tires with memory foam, 100mm new shocks have been ordered should be here next week along with new frame. basic electronics for now that come on the rtr. future plans would be tube cage and bash it... Those tires look cool on there! How are you mounting the 100mm shocks with added towers? I want to upgrade mine but am NOT paying $70+ for bigbore Duratrax shocks +brackets.... I be cheap that way.. HA!
