Just got back to Augusta...sore as you'd imagine. Those damn copper rocks were slick  Saved Joey's TX, though.  Great event, had a good time, passed the CR-01 around to let folks drive it, and met a bunch of new folks. Austin dominated the weekend. He won 2.2s and competed with another 2.2 in the super class and won it as well. What was great about this event was seeing the diversity of folks in attendance and competition. Children, wives, grandparents, and a bunch of the usual suspects from RCC. I'm out...haven't slept since Thursday night/Fri morning. just got back to the hotel from the cabins. great time, thanks to the sponsors and fish and his guys for running the event!!! i'm freaking exhaust and get some shut eye for tomorrow's crawl session... whenever i get up...

Just got home and settled in. I had a great time out there this weekend. Some great driving. I ended up finishing 6th with the new GC2. It did very well considering that it was just built. But it does look like I will be getting some new axles soon.  I also want to thank Fishmaxx and everyone that helped with the comp. Thanks Jason, Patrick and all of the other out of state guys for coming "Past the Mississippi River". And a big thanks to all the sponsors. There were some great prizes given out. There were chassis, BL motors, lipo batteries and a lot of other great prizes. I believe that EVERYONE got a prize.  |

Wow, what a weekend just got home after a nice 10 hour drive. Would like to thank all those that helped me out with this comp with all the suggestions and tune tips, props to my VARCOR boys! Would also like to thank the Western PA guys that helped out with the after comp trail/rock ride, what a blast, will post pics of everything tomorrow . . .

I also would like to say thanks to everyone involved in getting this comp together,and keeping things going smooth all day, and a big thanks to the guys that keep score they worked there asses off. I had alot of fun all day. Some how i made it into the 2.2 finals in the number 2 spot and was able to hold on to it. I would have never thought i would place that well. I went to this event hoping to be a contender in one of the top spots in super and just out and out bombed every course and ended up in 14th i think. Oh well maybe next time and maybe with a pimpcane instead of a truck with conventional suspension. I just could not get use to it.:-( |

I must say i have to improve my game/rig in super.I had to hear crap talk from Tyler all last night and all the way home today about how he placed better than me.I do not think i will ever hear the end of it. But i am proud of him his 2.2 finish was not that great but i do beleive he placed 12th in super not bad for a 8year old.
