I have heard rumors about this as well... any truth to them?

I'm thinking that it will just thin up. I've talked with Fish about his subject before and to my understanding it's up to the drivers if the class will be ran. Keep showing up with your 1.9 and the class won't go anywhere.

I just prefer the 2.2 class over the 1.9

I have a nicely built 1.9 and a piecemeal 2.2s... I want a nicely built 2.2s after ECC

Next ECC I will have a rig that was not finished by headlight the night before using LCC parts on 2s with a crap esc

Time to build another axial tranny and find a different axle solution for the scaler.

Use your 1.9 axles.

Clickety, clickety, clickety... Boom. lol.

I have a year! After nats it will move to the front if my project list. And it will be ax10 based. I have 2 sets of 300s in the scaler, chage scaler axles to something wraith based to lose the wideners and sell a set of 300s. Minimal cash needed to build 2.2s!

I have esc's and good motors, they just were not Losi friendly, and I'll be damned if I am going to burn up an LE or skew brood in a Losi

I know, but we do not run it in FL, so I have no shot at a ticket. I'm judging for my 2.2 pro ticket.

Plus I don't think I have the funds before then. My wife is out of work for several months now, so it will be ramen noodles and scraping pennies to get up there!

Reminds me of college days

I think since 2.2s is too new for clubs to have qualified drivers for 2.2s at nats, if you are qualified to be at nats for any class, you can run 2.2s, or something like that.
