Gate 11... ECC cash climb challenge!

HEY GUYS,
this years cash climb challenge at ECC will be brought to you by Central Ohio Crawlers and Gate 11!

We are giving away cash and a prize to the winner. Starting at 50 dollars and a Battlegrounds 2.2 drivers ticket which includes two classes and a T-shirt! PLUS the money gathered from the hill climb raffle! So the winner could really take home the bank!

One buck for a ticket. It will be a challenge. Anyone making the climb will get their ticket thrown in to the hat. The winner will be drawn from the hat.

The opportunity for this will start in the afternoon on Saturday. Being there Friday when we set up the challenge may be advantageous

We will announce more details at the event!

Most of you remember this as the Rox Box climb. Myself and 2 of my buds ran it the whole day and it was a blast watchin you guys (y-town mostly) Bust your asses trying to get up it.

I watched krawlfreak battle that climb over and over, but persistence paid off and he eventually made it to the top. Tough climb for sure, I will be curious to see how the recent progression to ultralight rigs effects the ability to make this climb.

I agree. I am driving my first ultra light Crawler and it definitely has an advantage on steep climbs. However sometimes heavy rigs do well. With the light rigs its much harder to tune the suspension.

This years cash climb will be definitely interesting. We will make sure of that

There was a lot of excitement at the cash climb. If it werent for articzap I dont even think I would have attempted it. I think he even told me not to try Heartbreak hill. Thanks for the chance.

Heartbreak hill is right. That is possibly the tallest climb i've ran my rig up. Too bad i couldn't make the top in regulation time(2.00). I made it consistantly on friday. Oh well, Theres always next year.
