So what your saying is, I can run an X trail chassied, New Bright hard bodied " scaler" without a winch that I have yet to actually drive. Have my buddy Rowdy drag me through the hard parts of the course, and as long as I'm having fun, it's all good?
If so, I'll be purchasing a scaler jam ticket "thumbsup""thumbsup"

I get the concept, but there is always a guy that ruins the plan.

For instance... Half way through the course Colby sits down under a shade tree with his controller in one hand and a bag of Cheetos in the other. He has a 6000 mah battery in his truck and drives it in circle one handed around the tree for an hour.

Theres gonna be plenty of shit to jump off of. You are going to deserve a trophy if you win this event... Sure as hell isnt gonna happen with a mud truck though haha!

I've seen enough to know they are boring! I comped for a few years and it enjoyed it at first but got tired of people telling me you cant touch your truck or you get points for backing up! To many rules for a toy truck! I say run what you brung and if you get beat better step up your game! For me it's a hobby and I like to have fun with my hobbys and don't want people telling me what I can and can't do with a 2,000 dollar toy truck lol

It's ok I suck at comp too, but I keep on trying.

I guess you have never looked at the scale rules...

Settle down guys. Marcus is a damn fine driver.

Different strokes for different folks. There are enough toy trucks out there for everyone .

I'm sure there will be some serious, hardcore scale guys competing.
I hope there will also be some other complete newbs like me with a half assed rig looking to up their weekend fun factor.
I mean no disrespect to the pro's or the event. My personal desire is to have a ball and perhaps provide a little comic relief :ror:
