The WWC season started March 15 in 2015, and I have no desire to try and pull it off before then. Not to mention filiing out their 5 page application.

I am shooting for a mid May date

Let me know how you do that, I would be more than happy to make events as reasonable as possible. Last year I think the NENQ was one of the most reasonably priced events out there.

Yes please!!! That would definitely take a bite out of the 1,600+ mile round trip!

It will be a lean and mean event.

No frills, Team Judging, and limited awards.

OK just checking, I like to have food for the drivers on Sat morning and lunch, that is a big expense but I feel that it is worth it. We did the team judging for 2.2Pro and it went ok. Let me know how you organize a total team judging event.

Thanks

Doing food is nice, but like you said its a big expense. In the past we have had some pretty good cooks, and its kinda of fun to try new things.

Team Judging definitely has to have a critical mass to work. If the class is smaller the a few volunteers usually pick ip the difference.

I agree it is a big expense, however it is convienent for the drivers. It is about a 15 min drive one way for us to the closest place to get anything to eat. It is nice to sit down together, break bread and shoot the shit.

I've been drafting rules for a driver judging style as well where the person behind you judges, typically with a simplified set of rules.

We are also going to have "Super Pro" tickets available if John wishes to have them part of the event. Basically the driver pays in to a separate cash pool, and only those drivers that pay in get to split up the winnings. Makes it easy to handle for those that want to put some extra money on their skills, and doesn't affect the ticket price for folks that don't wanna join.
