esc question

hooked all my electronics up (new rooster crawler) havent adjusted anything yet but it seems as though the motors turn faster when i pull trigger on controller in reverse. i have dual motors.....

check your motor timing

Check to see if your radio is set on 70/30 or 50/50 throttle setting.

do you have you're servo reversed on the radio? try that and reprogram"thumbsup"

mysharona 01-27-2008 12:26 AM

is it faster in reverse or does it just seem that way. alot of people arent used to seeing their vehicle move as fast backwards as forwards. it could simply be a visual trick to your eye...also, most people just getting into crawler driving don't have a very sensitive touch on the reverse end, usually giving it waaaaay to much making them seem touchy or fast in reverse.

its faster in reverse and 1 motor spins slower......

JohnRobHolmes 02-02-2008 07:49 AM

Did you program the throttle endpoints? Sounds like you have some timing on the motors too, what kind are they?

thatguy 02-02-2008 02:58 PM

first is this a clod? the slower motor could just be the diff. in friction between the front and rear gearbox.is the blue wire hooked to the neg. on the rear motor?
