Thanks Paul.
Think you answered your question on the FXR Pro and the lower turn motor limit as well as the 35t Pro being better because of the hand winding.

Thanks for that so im not bothered about lower turn limit on the fxr pro then ill get the fxr thought there might be more settings on it but what difference does a hand wound motor make over the 35t hd one.
Paul.

Paul.
Both ESCs have the same settings, only difference is the Pro is taller due to the 3rd board for more FETs, thus the lower motor limit.

The handwound motors are a little more efficient but the HDs provide more torque. Really they are both awesome motors though.

Ok thanks for that I'll get the fxr 35t combo with the hd motor will I need to get the hot wire pc link as well. How often does the esc software get up dated and is easier to set using a computer this is all new to me only used very basic esc before.
Thanks Paul.

I plan on ordering the fxr/35t hd motor combo to run in my scx10 wrangler g6. I want to run lights. Do I need an external bec? If so which one?

Can the FX-R Pro handle dual 17 turn motors on 2s, or dual 27 turn silver can kit motors on 3s in a clodbuster with stock tires and 13 tooth pinions?

(ratings only support dual 20 turn on 2s, and single 35 turn on 3s)

Thanks.
