Default Having problems

I got my Sidewinder, CC BEC, and 5T puller last week. I wired everything up correctly(looked over it many times). I have a JR XS3 pro controller and JR310 receiver. My problem is all I get out of the Sidewinder when on is a blinking yellow light. Steering servo gets power but I can't turn. I tried 2 different JR controllers and 3 different JR310 recievers, none worked. Then we hooked up a Nomadio system and everything worked fine. Also tried a TQ3 and it worked w/ no problems. If I don't run the BEC w/ the JR system I get steering and throttle but when steering the throttle jumps.
I don't have a clue whats wrong. Has anyone eles experienced anything like this? Anyone have a clue what the problem is?

This sounds stupid but just weighing the obvious. Are you removing the red wire from the esc's connector pin when hooking up the BEC?

Try reversing the throttle channel (followed by callibrating to the ESC). Did you change your deadband? If so return to "Default". I had the same problem caused by me playing with all settings that I new nothing about and didn't return to "Defaul".

I tried all that too but I can't even calibrate the esc. The blinking yellow led is on as soon as I turn it on.
