I just change my wiring diagram, i run mamba max esc, cc bec, DX3R, one steering servo, one dig servo and 3 cell lipo on my MOA.
After i trying this wiring diagram my servo lost its speed, it becomes slow, then i try to change my frame rate, but that not helping.
I run my signal cable from the servo to my receiver while the neg.positif wire goes straight to cc bec.
I'm wondering what did i do wrong, could someone tell me why i have this problem.

just plug into the Rx as normal if its a servo operated dig switch or electronic dig,,if it's a servo driven mechanical dig like a dna or vp hurst then wire the dig servo just like the steering servo shown in the diagrams above

It think the reason to run the servo directly of the BEC is so you can run max voltage to a high torque servo while running lower voltage to the RX and dig servo.

yes exactly,,but also so that the current draw from the steering servo doesn't affect your rx

Too bad this wasn't all stated at the begining. There would be alot less confusion.

Used the 'search' and found this thread. Very informative, but a little confusing.

Have a Novak Rooster with a 55t motor, spektrum reciever, hitec 7954 steering servo, and the factory Venom dig servo for dig. And I also run a 7-cell nihm pack. The radio is a DX3s and using the 3 channel sport reciever.

I was planning on getting a cc bec and program it to 7.4 volts to run the 7954 and bypass the internal 6 volt bec in the rooster. So I would use the first diagram where the bec is coming off of the battery wires and only feeding the 7954, and have only the signal wire from the 7954 going to the reciever?

Also would it matter if the wires going from the bec to the battery is hooked up on the esc side of the plug, so I can use different batteries?

Thanks for any help!

how're yez...
i also confused.....sort of.....i think.
I've gone all out and bought one of those really expensive BEC's from Hong Kong, you know, the ones that have really well written and layed out instructions.......
I have a TEKIN fx-r in an AX-10 with a 1250mah 3s 20c pack powering a 75t and 2 X mg996 servos. My original intent was to have the front servo's power boosted with the external BEC and leave the rear servo powered by the fx-r internal BEC........but thinking about it today, I'm now wondering if this is gunna be possible.....
Looking at all the diagrams and what-not has me at a loss as how to wire this puppy.....any suggestions appreciated......

I'm thinking about saving the 1st battery, so it would power the esc 100%.

Here is pretty clear wiring diagram I did for mine this morning.
This setup assumes you will run the dig servo straight from the AUX port.

My wire job for a LCC using a hs65mg 6v dig servo and a hs7950 7.4v steering servo. I used the ccbec 10amp set to 7.4v and the castle mamba max pro esc set to 6v. I used a servo wye adapter and connected the ccbec in one end and the hs7950 in the other end. I then pluged the adapter into the steering port on the futaba rx after i removed the red wire. I pluged the mmp esc bec into the throttle port. I put my dig servo on channel 3 with the rx and set up in my futaba 4pl. It all works so far. Sorry my pics are a little crappy from my iphone. I need to finsh the motor install and hope all is well.

Lots of reading but it helped me out alot thanks Gerry

Here is a link to my pics in another thread thanks
