It is VERY SLOW! Top speed is my walking speed. The torque is not that good because of the stock gear. I have the WK's 27T motor installed on my Ax-10 with stock gear. It's twice as fast and has lot more torque. Ax-10 is 1/2 shorter than WK's gear. So, don't go for 85T unless you want an absolute crawler. And even than you still need to gear down some. It is better to use a fast motor and big gear reduction rather than slow high torque motor and small gear reduction. However, I do get 1hour + run time out of the 85T. I didn't like it so I trade it with a 55T with some1( what a coincidence). It has less torque for sure, but it has a lot more speed. Gear down a bit, and it should be better than the 85T. | |

| I have a clod super that I'm runnin 65t with 6t pinions and clod sized tires (about 5.5") it worked awesome. Then I swapped to 40s tires (about 7.5") and it doesn't crawl as well. should I go to 85t motors or... |

| I personally wouldn't go more then a 65t. I have 65t's in my Super class Clod, with 8 and 9 tooth pinions, and I don't think thats enough wheel speed for some situations. I'm probably going back to 55t's |

| 85t motors are way too slow, in my 2.2 (ax10) i have a 23t motor on 7.4v and have won 2 out of 3 comps this year with it in my super i have 2 55t motors with 8t pinions on 7.2v and that is way too slow, so i am changing over too a 4 cell lipo (14.8v) and 6t pinions and maybe a 45t-35t motor |
