Ok well i got a integy 85t motor and a LRP waterproof ESC. and want to know what you guys think of it? Any one run a 85T? The gut at the LHS had the same one in and it had crazy torque and enough speed to get-r-done. I guess ill see tomorrow. but i didnt open it and going the the LHS tomorrow to get paint so if I have to ill get a 65 or 55t motor.....

IMHO,an 85t would need to be run on a 5 or 6 cell lipo to have "enough speed to get-r-done" 35t on a 3 cell with stock gearing, maybe even a touch higher would be a much better set up.

I have a 65T in my comp truck right now. Yea you have torque but no speed. Sometimes you need a little speed to get r done. Im going to a 45T and saddle pack 1500. This set up should be erfect.:-P

I switched from a pair of 55's in my clod to 75's, and I am alot happier with the 75's. also I'm running with a 9.9volt batt, so 55's on 7.2 might not be that bad. how much torque do you really need?

yeah you might want to try that i used to have 75 on my clod. but a 9 tooth wasnt getting it done. so i went to a 13 tooth you get some more speed but then i lost a little torque.

Thats why I suggested a 35t on a 3 cell. Decent torque,as much as a standard can will push any way.....and enough pep to use front dig if you got it or bump up ledges. If your looking for the ultimate torque monster,BUTTER smooth on the bottom end AND enough speed to air it out,a Cobalt puller is what you need. IMHO,you WILL NOT get close to a Cobalt with any other motor.

Hi there, I ran an Integy lathe 55T with an LRP waterproof ESC until I switched to a Mamba Max. Frankly, I couldn't get the esc to work very smoothly in my pti crawler, and it was very difficult to make it reverse slowly. Most of the time it would just jump backwards at high speed, no matter how delicately I applied the throttle. I think this has to do with the auto setup function of the esc not being up to the task. Anyway, I hope you have better luck than I did, but if it doesn't seem to work right, I'd try swapping the LRP for another ESC.

OK i got the LRP waterproof fw/rev. i think its outrunner? and the integy 75T motor. I ran it today and has enough speed and nice torque. its a good set up b/c the speed controller is small and i'm running a futuba radio and the reciever is just as small as the ESC. fits very good unter the radio tray.
