Hey guys I've been using the search button for weeks but i just have no knowledge on batteries. It just goes right over my head. So far i have a 35T warrior, thinking about a telkin FX-R or a sidewinder esc, MG946R servo, Looking at DX6 radios just because i'm used to the stick's. This is going into a scaler. What would ya'll recommend for me? I want to stay away from lipo's just because of the cost factor and the fact that i dont know how to take proper care of them yet. I will also need a charger as well. I dont have a lot of $ left to spend on the battery and charger so it cant be more then 150 for both.

I hear what you're saying about the Li-Po setup, but for that much money you could get a really nice Li-Po charger and battery. I have just bought the iMax B6 charger and FlightPower Evo25 2170 battery, and I am really, REALLY, imprerssed! Maybe it's about time to believe in yourself and learn about the technology, that's what I'm doing, and it's really not that hard to understand once you read the instructions. I can't wait for my MM to arrive so I can get it in there! Last edited by CreamLad; 05-02-2008 at 03:57 AM.

@ www.cheapbatterypacks.com you can get a custom nimh pack made to fit the space requirement you have, and the intelipulse charger from duratrax is a pretty good charger especially for the price.
