scaler lights cutting out

ok i wired my scaler with led lights (head, tail, and 4 rock lights), i have them running off the red and black wires from a secondary esc, its an intelispeed 16t mild mod esc. The main motor leads from the esc go to my scaleoffroad winch. i used the white wire from the esc and ran it to the receiver, the black and red wires go to the lights. I used resistors on all the leds. instead of posting all the pics again, her is a link to my build thread were you can see all the wiring.

i am also running a mtronics viper esc to actually run the truck and i run a 6 cell 3300 battery pack, 2 hitec 645 servos one for shifting tranny one for steering.

My question is, when i turn the esc on to turn the lights on, they go out after about 8-10 min. for several seconds then back on for 8-10 min. i was wondering what could be causing this? its kinda annoying.

Hey man is your esc warm? I was thinking you might be having thermal overload like you would have if you were running too hot of a motor, since it's only shutting off for a few seconds and then turns back on. I'm sure you double checked all your wiring for shorts as well, right?
