| Could a broken.......?
Could a broken transmitter aerial stop my car from workin when its more than 2 metres away ? I recently broke the top of my aerial off , but jus stuck it back in assuming it would be ok.. Around the same time, my aerial wire from reciever broke off, so i jus resoldered it to the board, looking fine... Now I cant get more than 2 metres away from the truck without it jus stopping.. Will those up there do that ? , its annoying , ive got more recievers and a couple aerials on the way anyway, but what about tha ? Cheers! |

it's more likely the rx then the trx tip that broke off.had the tip brake off of one of mine and made no difference

the antennae wire on the reciever is a specific length that is tuned for the frequency. if it gets clipped then the reception range is screwed up. did you shorten the antennae?

I just replaced it with a much longer one, and its still kacki. The trx aerial has two complete parts missing , I can get it further now, but only like 3 or 4 metres. Not very good atall, Next step , replace aerials i think |
