| I currently run 4 of them. 3 are in 1/8th nitros. Strong and no probs. Pretty fast also. |

| I'm running one on my comp. rig & the only problem is that it has so much torque it snaps the stock steering knuckle. Once I upgrade to aluminum tha wont be A problem anymore. But it is A great servo. |

| I burned the front one up on my TXT running XLs(most likely user error or a faulty servo)(sent it to Hi-tec 7+ weeks ago still no word) I took them both off and order 1/4scale servos Im running the extra 5955 i had off the rear of the TXT on my 2.2.... turns my Losi Claws very nicely Is there any thing special I need to do so I dont burn it up? I ran the CCBEC @6v on my TXT btw and now have to CCBEC @6v on my 2.2 for the 5955 and running a 3PM radio... love that servo If I could go back and do it again I would get JR servos There is a JR servo for the same price of the 5955 and it put out about 60 more oz |

| ^^^ yeah, for the price you really cannot beat the jr9100t, 370 oz of torque for the same price as the hitec 5995 |

| Yup jr 9100t is also great servo and should be looked at. I like the 5955 an depending on where you buy it can be a good value as well and the Hitec support and service repair is great. I also run a Profi 403 Radio which is the predecessor to Nornmando and also serviced by Hitec. |

| I have a JR Z9000T sitting in my tool box. That's all it does because I can't find an aluminum servo horn to fit it to save my life. I'll stick with HiTec, I put my 5998TG in my super at Moab 2005 and have been using it in comp supers and comp 2.2's ever since. |

You need to read this thread and put the paste in the servo to help dissipate the heat. Hitec 5995tg Robot Servo Fix - Help save your robot servo from overheating

When I used the Ofna universal horn though, the insert for JR fit perfectly. The plastic inserts keep stripping out though.

I am testing some other options with HiTec...I will let everyone know how they work... Key is to keep them cool. Use a fan...

| well Im am very happy to report... I ran a battery crawling last night and had no problems with the 5955 on my 2.2, I checked it often to see if it got hot, not once, I set my end points and crawled it up, with 0 issues and OH man I love the power that servo has... never thought I needed 333oz for just 2.2s I kind of wondered about the paste and warrenty issues I didnt really want to have to put it in the servo any ways I didnt really think it could or would do anything... like I asked about in above post. I was looking at attaching a large heat sink to the heat sink that is currently on there and adding a fan.... but I didnt have any issuses with heat even remotely last night, so I dont think I need to worry any more I think I may have had a faulty servo before |
