It would be a big no no to use it for surface use in the US. No idea what the regulations are in Japan, but it is still a bad idea.

Thanks 666 and Robb! I thought the guy at the flying electronics Forum was taking the piss I am not sure about JP but I can tell its just gonna be the usual "he is a Gaijin he didn't know" if anything at all The guys in the flight Forums just said that I will have to get better servos to use on land than the ones included in the package which is obvious ...I'm going with some 12kg servos and BEC or RX pack...

However I am really looking into this carefully (tired of the burning plastic smell) So all I know is that I will most likely go with the FrankyRizzo dig setup and may also try to go for separate 4W steer MAIN QUESTION Would I be able to use the switches on the radio for the two Clod mods or will I have to mod up the transmitter ? If I will have to do some mods on the transmitter ,maybe I am better off to just get a Traxxas TQ3 and go with dig only ....???? Any mods needed or will it work as is?
