| Hi all, I have a question about the electronics needed for an AX10. I am off of work with a torn ACL and not bringing in a check so I am on the cheap as possible train. I just got the AX 10 and was planning on buying new electronics for it but I need to know if I can use what I have from an old project. Tomken TSC411-P2 Speed controller Futaba FP-T2PBKA hand control Futaba FP-R112JE receiver Futaba FP-S148 servo Reedy Mack 1 motor This will not be long term just til I get back on my feet...literally !! |

| You will get by with that list but your first mod should be a BETTER servo, you will definitely kill that s148, so use your servo saver. Other than that it'll do |

| Thanks, I knew they would not be a long time go....good thing I have 5 of them. LOL I was most concerned with the motor, I had this in a 1/10 oval carpet racer...thing had speed !! |

| You can pick up a Integy lathe motor for about $20. I use a 35 turn lathe cuz the lhs only had that one. It has good speed but can still go slow. |

| Thanks but I want to hold off on buying anything I am just going to replace once I get back to work. I am not looking for a lot of speed....I have another rc10gt nitro for that. I just want this mobil for now.....keep me occupied as I recover. |
