The TQ3 doesn't have end-point adjustments and the servo is in a bind at full lock most likely. Servo is trying to turn sharper than the axle will allow.

Typical $100 servo with a $25 radio problem. You need a better radio unless you can get the binding stopped with linkage.

If you are set on the TQ3,check out a servo strecher.

i think its all good now moved it up a couple of holes on the servo horn and the only reason i use the tq3 is because i cant quite afford a better quality radio system someday i might have to

That's a good way to fix it for now, as the tires won't turn as far for the same travel of the servo horn

That'll work for now but in the future a radio with end point adjustment (EPA) will do the job. I have almost te same servo and using a futuba 3PM. It is a good radio versus its price. The servo gets mildly warm when it is crawling in the rocks.

Is the futuba srevo at a normal temp?

Default Servo Heat Sink cross post

Killa B,
Does the TG 5955 have a metal band around it like the DS8711?
If so, then check out my cross post for a Servo heat sink made from an old computer CPU heat sink.

Servo Heat Sink for JR DS8711
