Default Best radio for running VF Dig

Just wondering what the most popular radio is for running the VF Dig. I'm thinking about a DXR3R. Looking for something that makes using all three options of the dig unit smooth and easy. Thanks Farmer

I just switched from a 3PK to the 3R and it was super easy. The best part is the re-programability of all te buttons switches etc. Lots more options than you have with the 3PK and I have had Futaba for 12years now.

Oh and the reason for the switch was the lack of EPA full adjustment on the 3rd channel. Even with the EPA's set to 0 there was still too much travel on the PK

Yup, another vote for the DX3R. I've got it for my Edge with a VF dig, and it makes the setup simple. Plus you don't have to change any switches out or anything like that, just set it to Aux 3Pos, set the end points, and go, on whichever switch you want it to be on.

You can use the Futaba 3pm to get 3 positions for the VF dig also. The 3pm can be had for $120.

You can also use a DX3 or a XR3. I got my XR3 off Ebay for less than $20. But if price isn't an issue go for the DX3R.

I tried to but the DX3 but they sent me the dx3.0 so i shipped that piece of garbage back. I had to decide either buy a dx3 from the LHS for $249.99 plus tax or buy a dx3r for $275 off line with free shipping. The choice was easy the DX3R will be here tomorrow and i cant wait
