Default cell count

I don't know about the motors limit, but w/ the MM I would go w/ a 8 or 10 cell sadle pack on the front axle.

I was wondering that quetions; why more than 6 cells; what advatage is there? The disadvantage is the weight I suppose.

Adds additonal voltage, which will increase wheelspeed when needed, provide better torque, and gives extra weight over the front tires when axle mounted for improved climbing.

Does it harm the motor putting more power though. I'll use the CC BEC and regulate it to 6v for servo's.

No, more voltage is better and more efficient as long as you're not over the voltage limit of the equipment. After running 8 cells, I don't ever want to go back to less!!!!! I'm running Tekin FXR esc, 45t Integy motor, and Hi-tec HS945mg servo.

Well. the motor and servo are what I'll be running, but with a mamba max so take it takes ok. Sounds good; I better change my order from 6 cell to 8 cell.

Thanx

yes, 2/3a cells. running 8 cells isn't going to hurt anything and the power and wheel speed is more than worth it!

I either run 8 cell 2/3 a packs, or 3 cell lipo packs.... I will never go back to 7.2 volts again

Yeah, the first pack I installed on my new Axial is an 8-cell 2/3a saddle pack. I used cells from 2 Elite 1500 7.2V packs I thought were dead. Only one cell in each pack was actually dead and my 8-cell pack will take up to and even more than 1500mah when charging. Got over an hour and a half drive time last charge.

im not really familiar with the FXR but running just one servo should be just fine. muche cheaper ESCs will do the same thing, your FXR shouldn't have a problem.
