Default sidewinder ?

You can use the side winder with the castle link right it says that the side winder does not have direct usb port.

Correct, to make programming easier the Sidewinder requires use of the Castle Link USB adapter.

Only the Mamba has a USB port!

Yea man! My father has the sidewinder and the castle link it has the adapter to plug esc plug into it. esc plug that you plug into your receiver is what you plug into the castle link adapter, at the other end is usb for the pc..
