Question Digital servo with regular radio?

Can I use a digital servo, hitec 5465 with a regular futaba fm radio? I was thinking at one time that couldn't be done. Thanks!

Yes, they are compatible with a standard FM radio. I don't think servo compatibility has anything to do with how the radio transmits a signal, but I could be wrong. But I use digital servos with my FM radio...

Why not I use a digital servo with an am radio. As long as you have epas you should be good I think.

The only issue is you either need to have epa adjustment on your radio or either set up the linkage so the servo is not in a bind at the end of the travel.

As long as there is no binding, you will be OK.

Good, just wanted to make sure and not burn up a 50$ servo!
