| I have an 8 cell AA nimh pack that I made. They are 2500 mah cells. What would you charge them at? 1 amp or? I dont know what they should charge at. Thanks for looking |

| 1 amp souds about right, laess if you have time. Much above 1-1.5 amps and small cells tend to build up too much heat. |

| Yeah, the AA cells have a pretty high resistance in relation to other cells. 1 amp max IMO, I would charge at .5a to be on the safe side. What brand cell are they? |

| I get much better charges out of my AA Nimh batteries when I use lower rates, in the .6 amp range. I usually cycle them twice, with discharge rate 1/2 of the charge rate, and the mAh usually goes up to maximum. Any faster, and they only get 2/3 or 1/2 charge. |

| I have a few sets of duracell aa and i charge them at .6a, it takes a while but they charge great and last a long time. 2550mah |
