Default Continual Glitching problem

This rig has had some glitching since first built. I know the radio isn't ideal. I originally had it built with a Rooster and it glitched occasionally. I recently swapped in a Rooster Crawler ESC and moved the ESC & RX further apart in hopes to help with the glitching. Since then I changed my brown crystals to red and it still glitches. Here's a few shots of my set up. Please someone give me some usefull info to get this thing driveable. I know a better radio, but it's the only one I have to control the winch.

Integy motor- you have caps on it?

When does it glitch? Looks like you have it set up about as good as possible, but your servo close to the RX won't help any. Are the crystals new?

I have found that keeping the reciever wires from crossing the power wires has helped. Maybe you can cut up your battery pack to be 3cells wide by 2cells deep (instead of being 2x3) so the winch servo can move to the front of the truck in front of the battery so its farther away from the RX like JohnRobHolmes said.

The motor has Novak caps, the servo is off unless winching, via the switch next to the battery. I'll try to route everything better by getting some extensions for the winch & steering servo's. Maybe even move the winch to under the battery tray.

I was having issues with glitching the other day that seemed to get worse as the day went on. I swapped out the receiver for another one and my glitching went away. I found that my 3ch Traxxas receiver was the problem. Since the switch I have more distance and no glitching.

If you have another receiver I'd suggest trying it in the rig just to see if it helps.

Just try and clean up all those wires. This alone will narrow down whats going on. A post above stated the power wires (battery/motor) are touching the servo wires. I can see it'c crossing over a few area's. The one that catches my eye is the plug resting on your battery wires. Try and get your speedo away from all the wires and it might help too.

One more thing that will help - try twisting the wires from the battery to the esc and from the esc to the motor - only needs one or two twists - that will help.

why does it help? I'll try anything, but curious as to why?

I rerouted some stuff and moved the ESC up towards the battery, we'll see if it helps.

Those old associated antenna mounts let the antenna wires touch frames, was a common problem back in the old gold tub days from associated. try getting one that lets the wire mount from the top or shim it up. Did you cut your antenna wire at all to shorten it up by chance?

can also try doubling up on your servo tape to raise the receiver. those receivers on 27mhz are known for glitching. could also try a ferrite ring on the antenna wire and/or other wires too.

coiling the wires ( from how it was explained to me ) helps reduce the the chance of interference. it lessons the area or closes the field area acceptable to radio noise.

definitely try a cap on the motor. rule of thumb ive always believed is at least one cap on every motor pole to pole and ive never had a problem.

wire management would be my first look then work on the receiver like mentioned by others.

Twisting DC power wires cancels out the EMF that is thrown from each wire.

I was having lots of glitching problems on my axial. It was fine for the first month then it got worse over the past 2 weeks. I changed the crystals and that didn't help. Yesterday I purchased a spektrum dx6i, installed it. Problem solved.

Not a cheap sollution but it fixed it

I could be mistaken, but I think if wires cross at a 90 degree angle the RF either cancels out or can't cross over. Something about the signal being out of phase. So, if you must cross wires, try it that way. I may also be talking completely out of my ass
