| will the Rooster Crawler handle 8cell nimh pack? i wasnt thinking to check the voltage rating B4 i ordered the battery. i could exchange for a 7 cell, but will the 8 cell work |

| If you pull the red wire out of the harness going into the RX, you might be OK. By doing that, you will disconnect the internal BEC on the Rooster Crawler. You will then have to run a separate stand alone BEC like a Castle Creation BEC or something similar. A lot of the heat and problems caused in ESC's come from high voltage having to be converted lower by the ESC's BEC to run the RX and servos. You should check with Novak to be sure though. They put those voltage limits on the Rooster Crawler for a reason. |
