Default crazy glitching

My servo never glitches. With my finger off of the throttle, my rig will jump into reverse for half a second. It will also jump into reverse repeatedly (or the signal just drops) while I'm going forward.. the speed where I am when it does this varies.

What I'm working with

ckrc 6-cell 1500 split pack
novak 55t
Hitec Agressor 2-chan
Hitec 645 servo
CC sidewinder

my RX antenna is really long, but it doesn't touch any metal. Do I need the CC BEC??

I can get some pics of my rig tonight when I get home.

before I bought my sidewinder I called castle and asked them if I needed the ccbec when running one hitec 645, they said yes. I don't know if will cure your problem, but thats where I would start, the sidewinder has a wimpy bec, so its probably cutting out while trying to keep your servo centered.

I'm planning on getting one of those in a couple of days. We will see how/if it helps.

This is my current set-up. I did move my servo wires away from my esc wires, and I twisted my battery wires too. It seemed to help, but I still got some glitching while going forward. The violent magical reversing seemed to go away. I will test it out some more tonight.

I would direct wire the motor and put a couple of twist in the wires as well, helps to cut down on radio noise....also try to keep all servo and esc wires away from your motor, motor wires and battery wires, they can pick-up interference if running close by...hope this helps

Well I went by one of my LHS's yesterday and picked up the CC BEC. WOW!! My servo is faster, and my motor is faster. The glitching only seemed to get worse, though. Is it possible for wireless internet signals to mess with my radio? I'm starting to think my Hitec Aggressor 2-channel is mainly the reason for this off-the-wall glitching. The ESC still goes nuts.

me=frustrated

It doesn't matter where I am, or how far I am from my rig. It took 10 minutes of driving for it to glitch at the Hobby Shop yesterday.

The sheet that comes with the BEC says to keep it away from recievers and the esc. there isn't much room to do that!!

Ive had mine mounted within a 1/4" of the esc and the rx before with no problems, I know you might not be ready yet but a 2.4 will fix all of that......

my SR3100 is sitting about 1/8" from my GOAT ESC, and I have never had problems with glitching, and my antena runs along side the aluminum side panels on my tuber.
