| Servo question
I'm going to put the rear steer kit on my axial crawler. Just wondering what servo I should get? I'm not looking for the best servo out there...something cheap (price wise) that will do a decent job. Any suggestions? |

A quality cheap servo is a Hitec 645MG. They work great for the price and are very consistent. A Tower Pro is cheaper and also has a higher torque rating, but they are very hit or miss. You either get a good one and it lasts, or you get a crappy one that glitches, or slows down once it gets warm. I would by the Hitec 645MG is you are looking to spend around $35 or so. The search button is also located in the top right section of every section here on RCC. It works really well. |

make sure you get one that is strong enough to keep the wheels centered. that is part of the reason i no longer have rear steer. it would allow the wheels to turn when i turned the front wheels and just go straight.or they would stay tuned and the rear would track sideways. i just ditched it, gonna get a dig instead
