Are the 5th and 6th channels on/off or 3 position switchs?
Can they be converted at all like the 3rd channel on a TQ3?

No they are not 3 position. I have tried to make them 3 position, it did not work. You can mix the 2 together and make them work like a 3 position.

So they would be good for lights and other such on/off stuff.
Shame you can't 3 position mod em.
JIA, do you have any pull/influence with Spektrum?

i think the dx7 has 3 pos switches but it costs a lot more
