Does the DX3, DX3.0 and DX3R all use the same receivers?

| they don't come with the same but you can use either receiver with either radio ...i'm actually using the receiver(sr3000) from my DX3 with my DX3R because you can cut the antenna down to 3.6" on the older receivers but you can't cut the antenna wire on the new receivers(sr3100) that comes with the DX3r

| no...you can cut the antenna to 3.6.....the only thing it mentions about cutting the antenna tube is that you would want to cut the tube so the antenna sticks out at least a 1/2" past the end of the tube

The DX3R is the only one that can use the sr3100, but the other receivers all work with all the radios, minus the aircraft radios.

The DX3R is DSM2 and the other radios are DSM. DSM2 radios are reverse compatible but not the other way around.
