no he is right that is discharge on the 2000mah RX pack.. they are great RX packs cheap with a low c rating since you dont have high draw on servos. but roborg is right there not gonna be real great for a crawler.

I am kind of lost when it comes to batteries, Why do we need high discharge amperage? I thought that just applies with your charger when cycling your batteries. Is 5A the amount of power when active.

apogee ya if you look at the site they got 20c with big wire on them. i run there 2200mah 2 cell and get about 2 hours of straight run time no stop. they are very safe and no balancing, i have turned alot of people towards these. i think best battery hands down.

An RC crawler draws amperage for use in the radio equipment, the servos, the motor, the esc, they all draw power and 2.5C is not near enough power to run them all, for a 2.2 with single esc, low draw motor, sinigle servo a 10C will work fine. but the more equipment you put on board the higher amp draw you have so the higher battery discharge rate you need. a super will need even more draw rate. Im running 2/3A cells that discharge at 20C continuous and its barely enough
