I've been using that servo on a couple rigs for over six months now with no problems. It definitely has tons of torque. The only thing I'd reccommend is that you need a BEC because the HSR-5990TG has a higher operating voltage than say a HS5955TG. 4.8-7.4 vs 4.8-6.0V. When I tried running it without a BEC, the whole truck would just lose power whenever turning the wheels.

thanks. would it be fine running it at 6 volts because the rooster crawler has a bec of 6 volts.

You should be just fine with the rooster crawler, if you have problems, just get your self a ccbec "thumbsup"
