Default New BEEFED up FX-R?

Was this just a idea or is there really a beefed up fx-r esc in the works... Anyone have any input on this... i.e release date if there really is one comming out? My cc bec is taking up some much needed room.

It was posted in my FX-R thread from Tekin that they where not going to produce a beef'ed up BEC FX-R. The overall goal with this new FX-R was to eliminate the amping issues caused by running a 3C lipo and pegging the steering servo. However even with the new BEC the FX-R still amped out in high stress circumstances. It was rare but did happen.

So for now we are using CC BEC's with the FX-R and love the combo.

I see no reason at all for a "beefed up" version of the FX-R... the FX-R is great as is.... just do it the right way and run a C.C. bec like you should with ANY setup.

The whole point of this thread was so find out if they were comming out with one so i DIDNT have to use a external bec. Hence me saying before that its taking up space i would like to use. Thx for telling me something im already doing.

may i ask how a CC bec takes up to much room? if you want a speed control with a good bec look at novak.
