My New NiMh TX Pack Has 3 Wires......... The pack that I picked up in the LHS had the correct plug with only two wires, but I guess I grabbed the one behind it thinking it was the same. I know the LHS isn't going to take back/exchange a battery, and I have no problem making what I have work, but I just need to know how. The pack has a normal servo plug on the end, with red, black, and white wires coming from the sealed pack. My assumption is that the white is worthless and I can just ignore it, but wanted to check that before I go swapping wires with my existing plug (with the typical red and black only). I guess through a meter red and black would have continuity and the white would have nothing to anything? Just checking before I snip. Thanks |
Yup, the white wire isn't hooked up to anything other than the plug, the Dynamite 1000mAh pack in my WK is the same way, I didn't even bother cutting it off. |
Got some tx and rx packs the same as you mentioned Robb, I assume they are just using harnesses they already have for other uses(servos,esc's,etc...). Probably cheaper on them to just have 1 type. |
Yup, ignore the white wire. |
