Witch one? Go with Glenda, she was the good witch.

As far as which ESC/motor to get look at the Tekin FX-R/55T motor combo if you can find one. Stormer had them in stock but sold out at $99.95 per set. Still the FX-R is around $100 and the 55T from other vendors range from $20 to $50.

The Tekin FX-R combo is awesome. Definitely one of the best brushed speed controls on the market.

I went the cheap route just to get started, and everything works awesome! I purchased an Integy 55t motor for $20, a Dynamite Tazer 15 ESC for $30, an Elite 6 cell 2700 crawler pack(crawled for two hours and still wasn't dead) for $35, and a $50 Futaba radio. No glitching, very responsive, decent motor braking on decents. It may be a while before I make any upgrades, as this set-up work far better than I expected. Total cost of electronics... $135. The only complaint I have, is the weak steering servo...that needs to be upgraded right away.

will be looking into the Tekin FX-R/55T. that seems like a good price.
