Default wich motor???

i am getting a rc4wd tranny on my scaler but in combination with a novak 55t motor it doesn t have no speed anymore , what motor should i take to have still enough torque + some more speed , any sugestions anyone

That puller motor is one hell of a beasty engine , but I think I go for the 35T solution

Add more volts to the equation. If you geared down the the R2, volt up with a bigger pack. Are you running a 6-cell now? Try an 8 or 9 cell... ONLY if your ESC will work with a bigger pack.

I agree, instead of trying another motor. Try a different pinion or volt up. Which ESC are you running?

On the R2/R2D I had, I ran an Axiom 50T motor with a 22T pinion (I think somewhere around there) and saw an improvement over the stock pinion that comes with the R2/R2D. The biggest improvement was jumping to the 8-cell pack.

my esc is a traxxas xl5 so i think it can t hold 8 or even 9 cell battery packs + i haven t got the space because I rejused the battery holder from my wheely king and all the rest of my homemade scale chassis is packed up with other stuff , I could try with the gear ratio to , thanks alot for the info dudes
