Default Question on TQ3...

Hey is there any way i can hook channel 1 and 3 both to the steering pot and have FULL steering. i did try putting the three wires from channel 3 to the steering pot (along with channel 1) and i only got about half the movement of the servos...

SO i pretty much want to be able to have ch.1 and ch3 hooked up to the same pot and have full throw.

got a litle lost, but it seems the channels would counteract. unless you have your servos set EXACTLY the same.. but maybe it's just lack of sleep as to why i got lost..well i do all the time anyway..but if you installed pots on channel 1, why not take the time and do it on channel 3?

hmm... replace the 5k steering pot with a 10k pot. That might do it. Good luck finding the right size for the radio though.

that might do it ORR the other way... a 2.5k pot because theres twice as much flow through the pot... but i kno there is a simple way considdering these guys did it...

He he my controler came out nice. 2 momentary push button switches mounted on a REGULAR tq radio face... so theres no ugly hole where the 3rd channel tq3 switch is...... MUST HAVE EPA POTS.....

hey is there any way i can hook up EPA pots for the front steering on a tq3...

ALSO will a 100k trim pot work for the rear steering trim? I am getting sick and tired of using a skrew drive to center the damn thing...
