Default Green to Red LED flashing!! What?

I have a call into Axial CS, but no reply yet............so..........

RTR has about 1 hour of use since new.

LED on reciever? is blinking red to green..........

Vehicle does not move or steer.

Tried 3 different batteries in vehicle, 3 new sets of batteries in controller.

Checked all connections, seem fine and secure.

I refered to owners manual to interpet the flashing, manual does not address it.

Reciever was warm to the touch soon after vehicle STOPPED.

Anyone have any idea what may NOT be happening?

Thanks, Kerry

I've not seen, that I can remember anyway,a reciever get hot while running. How many volts you got running into that? What servo's are you running?

What motor? Batteries? Gearing?

Did you pull the red wire on the ESC's reciever plug? If not, your pushing to much power into the reciever. It's getting power from the ESC AND the battery. Might have thermaled the reciever or fried it for good. Did you see any magic smoke?

No smoke....but there was heat at the reciever and ohhhhhhhhhhh that smell!!..I disconnected the red previous to this....but vehicle did not work......reattached and it worked great (2 minutes) and I shut everything down.....I then finalized all wiring and made it nice and neat, reassembled the vehicle (30 minutes) and.........it never moved again..........If it is the reciever........ANYONE got one lying about...channel #4......to sell?

I also got a sindwinder ESC, but have to now get a cable to program it.................

Problem solved....................

I cooked the reciever.

My error, when neatening up the wiring I pluged the wrong things into wrong positions!

Note to self: Be careful when re-plugging components into your Axial recievers. Mine allows me to even plug in components with the plug reversed. No lock out or "keyed" inputs/plugs to prevent a mishap.
