Default Mamba 25 Brushed

I know that the mamba 25 can run a brushed motor. However, what I don't know is if it has reverse, drag brake, or anything that a crawler really needs. If anyone has info on this, your input is much appreciated.

If its a newer one yes you can upgrade the software and it has all of those features. Just don't try to run it on 3cell lipo like I did as it will just smoke. 7.4 trail running would be best, not hardcore crawling I don't think. JMO.

I second that. I smoked my 25 with a 3 cell lipo as well..
reverse and drag brakes worked with my setup

Was there at least plenty of wheelspeed? I would like to run a 45 or 55 turn and a 7.4 lipo. With those motors could it handle a comp?

I ran mine in a comp with a 2 cell li ion and a 75 turn motor, 96 tooth spur, 14 tooth pinion. It had plenty of wheel speed, but the 3 cell is better.
